From the editor:

So the review of "Something 4 Everyone" was published last Friday. If you didn't see it just click on the link in the music section. My first reaction is, OK so it could have been worse. She was being polite by saying a few nice things about the CD. She suggests I should focus on writing "children's songs". She could have said "keep your day job". I would be OK writing children's songs for a living, but I like writing whatever comes through the guitar. So I will keep writing whatever feels good.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the review. I look forward to your comments.

The Republican National Convention has dominated the news this week and our reporter on the scene has again scooped the poop! A story no one else is talking about. We are on our way to a Pulitzer! Only here will you get these stories.

Thanks for your few minutes of support each week!

The weeks most interesting

Philadelphia is proposing free wireless internet access for all. This is definitely the wave of the future for the internet. Access will be free, fast, and coming to a city near you soon!

Now this is politics! Democrat Zell Miller challenges MSNBC's Chris Mathews to a duel. Now that would get people interested in politics again!!

Just another great analysis from the Junk Science guy! Government estimates that obesity is responsible for 300,000 deaths a year. As everyone now should be aware, any study should be reviewed in detail before getting concerned. It seems to be all about the funding and this is no different!

Original music scene & not so original...

Common sense?

Protesters at the Republican Convention in NY were protesting about President Bush's policy on AIDS. The problem is, the president has funded the program more than Bill Clinton ever did and more than the rest of the world combined. Does that make sense? Maybe they should join U2's Bono and credit the president for his support!

Did you know?

I would rather grow old than drink a cup of urine every day!!!

Fact, fiction, or funny

News from the campaign trail:

Our reporter covering the Republican Convention heard rumors that President Bush and Governor Arnold  Schwarzenegger were sneaking behind the protesters at the convention and pulling down their pants just for fun. Our reporter caught up with them inside and asked them about the rumor. Arnold said he "had no comment", but quickly added, "I think they are girlie men". When the president was asked to comment on the situation he responded, "I had absolutely nothing to do with the 54,000 cans of missing Moosehead beer". Huh! Then went on to say, "my lips are sealed". Kerry could not be reached for a comment. He was traveling with his wife Teresa between campaign stops in the battle ground lakes.

You have to check out this link to JibJab.com! A great suggestion from my Uncle Richie! Cooking with Clinton!!! They have some hysterical cartoons!
